Clock Tower (Relationship Thai-Vietnamese

It's long time never visit my blog. Today I have one of attractive places in Nahon Phanom to tell you. It's Clock Tower!!!. It was built around 50 to 60 years ago to show a relationship between Thai and Vietnamese before Vietnamese went back to Vietnam. Since Vietnam had a civil war long times ago, some of them went to Laos then accross Maekhong River to Thailand (at Nakhon Phanom border). After they arrived Nakhon Phanom province, they have been treated as well. After the war end, they gave a present to Nakhon Phanom people by building a Clock Tower beside Maekhon River. Then some of them went back home.

When I was young, I saw some Vietnamese went to my hometown and brought some ashes of cremated at Vietnamese's grave back. I wonder what are they doing? After I grew up, I found that they brought their parent back home. (In Vietnam)..

Ho Chi Minh' house in Nakhon Phanom

Have you ever heard the name "Ho Chi Minh", he was the greatest leader of Viet Nam.

And !! Have you ever heard about he had been in Nakhon Phanom for 8 years before went back to Viet Nam. My massage don't want to dig any history for any quarrel of some people.

I just want to show you what the attractive place to show histrory of Nakhon Phanom.

Ban Na ChokJust 5 kilometers away far from Amphoe Muang, Ban Na Chok is a historical village where Ho Chi Minh, the former president of Vietnam, spent his time in Thailand. The attractive places include- "Ban Ho Chi Minh or Uncle Ho's house", rebuilt as an old design and displayed his utensils.- The Friendship Village; presented the relationship between Thiland and Vietnam where the Prime Ministers of the two countries were the chairpersons of hte Opening Ceremony on 21 February 2004. In addition, there is an exhibition of Ho chi Minh's Biography and the relationship of Thailand and Vietnam.
